    71948 - TGA Premier Golf

    Location: Carpino-Steffens (Hommocks) Field

TGA Golf will provide the station-based instruction clinics. Players will rotate through three different stations - full swing, chipping and putting. At each station, we will teach basic fundamentals of the game while allowing players to participate in a series of fun and exciting skills challenges and contests. During water/snack breaks, we will discuss golf rules and etiquette as well as golf history and other facets of the game such as club selection and course management so that we can better prepare them for on-course play.

Safety remains our top priority as we resume our programs. Your child will be in a group of 9 players or less to meet the current guidelines. We are fortunate that golf is one of the few sports where it is relatively simple to maintain proper social distance. Players ages 7 -14 will be placed in groups by age and ability and given their own zone to swing, chip and putt. Other players will be at least 10 feet away.

We encourage all players to bring their own clubs. However, if your child does not have his/her own clubs, we will provide them (rental fee is $20 for one week. Players will be given a set of three clubs (driver, iron, putter) that they will keep in their possession for the entire week. There will be no sharing of clubs or balls.
